Wanderung Baltic Sea Beach Hike (22km)

Starting in the seaside resort Sierksdorf we will walk directly at the shore line, on the beach, to the south. On our way we will pass the piers in Haffkrug, Scharbeutz, Timmendorf and Niendorf. If walking on sand is getting to hard we can change to the footpaths and promenades paralleling the beach most of the time. For the last stretch, after Niendorf, we will follow the path on top of the cliff to Travemünde. The hike will be at a moderate pace.

We will meet in Hamburg Hauptbahnhof at 8:45 in front of the DB-Reisecenter to buy shared SH-tickets, costs per person approx. 10€. We will take the train at 9:04 to Lübeck, change in Lübeck to the train in the direction of Neustadt (Holstein) and arrive in Sierksdorf at 10:44. For the return from Travemünde Strand we will probably use the train at 17:36 and will be back in Hamburg at 18:51.
